Capture the rush of the San Antonio River, leaves rustling, songs of birds and insects, and the whispering breezes of the park. With our seasoned AM instructors, you’ll transform these natural sounds into a uniquely crafted track using a cutting-edge music production platform. By the end of this workshop, you’ll have an auditory keepsake of your experience at Confluence Park! \n*Please note, all participants must have a smartphone with audio recording capabilities. (ex: Voice Memo on iPhone, Recorder on Android) \nGoal: Create a song using audio loops to include: \n\nSounds recorded at Confluence Park \nLoops and drum patterns \nVocal recordings or canned samples \n\nTasks: \n\nLearn Soundtrap interface \nRecord sounds \nTransfer sounds from phone to computer \nImport sounds into Soundtrap \nSelect musical loops to combine with recorded audio \nCreate drum patterns to add to composition \nEnjoy a unique evening taking your first steps on the path of sound exploration and music production and a glass or two of wine.* \n\n*Wine will be provided to attendees that are 21 years of age or older. \n\n
