Hispanic Heritage Month Geocache Treasure Hunt

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Latino Outdoors will be unveiling a geocache series in the heart of San Antonio that takes participants to various locations that represent Hispanic culture. This series will introduce people to Hispanic art and history while engaging in a popular outdoor activity. Through the Geocaching app, you can learn about the cultural and historical significance of each site.

Geocaching is an “outdoor treasure hunt” in which participants follow a set of GPS coordinates to look for treasure. The treasure or “geocaches” are hidden at varying degrees of difficulty, with some geocaches being cleverly camouflaged in plain sight! To learn more visit Geocaching 101

There are 7 geocache sites in total with prizes hidden in various spots. We will be refilling with new prizes all through October, did someone say Fiesta medals?? On your mark, get set, VAMONOS!
