Policy and Procedures
Confluence Park is a valuable community space, privately managed by the San Antonio River Foundation. Because it is privately managed, rules and regulations sometimes differ from city, county and federal parks. A full copy of Confluence Park’s Policy and Procedures are provided online. We also welcome you to contact the San Antonio River Foundation at confluencepark@sariverfound.org.
The Mission Reach
The Mission Reach Ecosystem Restoration and Recreation Project has transformed an 8 mile stretch of the San Antonio River into a quality riparian woodland ecosystem. This unique project restored riverine features and riparian woodlands, reintroduced native plants, enhanced aquatic habitat and reconnected cultural and historical features. Confluence Park is a gateway to the hike, bike and paddling trail, which begins near the Blue Star Arts Complex and ends near Mission Espada. More information and recreational maps can be found at www.sara-tx.org.
