The Bugs, Bikes, & Botany: Nature Adventure Kit Program invites families to experience the Mission Reach from a whole new angle—a bug’s-eye view! Brought to you by the San Antonio River Foundation and San Antonio BCycle, with support from PeopleForBikes and the Better Bike Share Partnership, this program is your ticket to a wilder side of San Antonio, where each bike ride introduces you to both our city’s unique nature and the perks of using BCycle, San Antonio’s bikeshare system.
Here’s how it works:
Check out a Nature Adventure Kit from BiblioTech, packed with tools for young explorers (and adults too!) to get up close with bugs, water ecology, and plants. Each kit includes interactive field maps and BCycle Day Passes for adults. Bring a child along on their own bike and explore the Mission Reach together, discovering nature’s hidden wonders from a fresh, curious perspective as you pedal from station to station.

BCycle DAY PASS
Each Nature Adventure Kit includes a promo code for a complimentary BCycle Day Pass (for riders 18 and older).

Each Nature Adventure Kit includes an interactive field map to guide riders along the Mission Reach and engage with the exploration tools in the pack.
BCycle Demo Rides
For an extra boost, don’t miss our monthly BCycle Demo Rides led by local BIPOC ambassadors! These guided rides not only showcase the fun, eco-friendly ease of BCycle but also introduce the tools found in the Nature Adventure Packs for an immersive exploration experience.
